At dinner tonight, Julie our Chaplain's counsellor offered to drove us Asians to
'Mount Coot-tha', at 8pm (Aus Time)!
I have long heard abt this place but nv had a chance as I am car-less.
It isn't very far away from Raymont about 10 Mins drive.
When we are at the foot of the Mountain, there is a Botanic Garden named
'Mount Coot-tha Botanic Gardens"
At about half mountain, we can see the Brisbane lighting's and there is so many stars.
Its so cooling up at the Mountain, (Not very high in altitude)
But there is almost a 360 degrees view of Brisbane.
When i reach the summit,
I go " WOW, 好漂亮啊!"
No cameras can film down how beautiful it was.
(Cos our cameras resolutions are not for twilight view)
Thus the MOMENT can only be snap down in our memories.
We also found out that Mount Coot-tha is the place where
Julie's husband propose to her.
So you can imagine how romantic this place was.
Its so so so suitable for couples to go.
haha.. where is my ah dear?
Through this trip I also manage to find on the night sky
Southern Pole Star (South Star) and Venus star
Its really beautiful.
There goes the reason why in Singapore or Malaysia,
I can NEVER find the North Star & the Big dipper.
Cos its dosen exit in our side of earth.
